Settings

Settings

In this section, you can choose various things as - Generic global settings, Investigator details and Logging

Global settings

Here you can change the language of the UI and set if you want to show our product logo in your reports.

We currently support English, Czech, Slovak, Spanish, Portuguese and Chinese (in beta version as of this moment).

More languages will be added soon.

Keep in mind that the language in these settings does not affect the language of reports

Investigator details

In this section you can edit your investigator details which then appear in every report you will create.

This is how it is displayed in the report:

Logging

Here you can edit the log level, edit the max log size, access logs folder and clear them.

We currently have 4 levels of logging - Off, Basic, Detailed and Debug.

Every level does make the extraction a bit slower because the software then does keep track of every step you and the device make and writes it down.

We advise you to set the Log levels to Debug and the max log size to at least 4096KB. The reason is that once there would be any problems you will be ready to send logs to our support team without the need of recreating the problem (you can find an article on how to send us logs here).
