Writing a message

Composing of a new text message can be initiated either through the Messages plugin in the Device tree or from the phone's main screen. In the Messages plugin there is a Send Message button on the edit toolbar (on the upper right side).


Choosing the address:

To... button opens a dialogue to select the recipient(s) from your phonebook. Contacts from all the connected devices, backups and offline devices are at your service. Selected recipients are being displayed in the field next to the To... button. You can also type a phone number into the field.


MOBILedit! supports multiple messaging - it is possible to send a message to several recipients at a time.




Composing features:

  • Send - The message will be immediately sent to the selected recipient/s.
  • Close - The window will be closed. Please note, that the content will not be saved as a draft - the message will be discarded.
