MOBILedit connection wizard
The Connection Wizard
will guide you step-by-step through the process of device recognition
and setup of the PC-to-device communication through various types of
connections.
You can find the MOBILedit Connection Wizard button on the main toolbar. Alternatively, it can be accessed through File menu: File/Connection Wizard. The Connection Wizard also automatically pops-up the first time you start MOBILedit!.
Getting started with the Wizard:
In the beginning you have to select what you want to connect:
- Phone connected to PC - Your phone is connected via cable, Bluetooth or Infrared connection (IrDA)
- Internet storage - Over-The-Air connection
- Data file - You can import data files (*.MEA,*.MED)
To find out how to connect a card reader, please proceed to the section SIM card.
Select Phone connected to PC and click the Next button to continue.
Connection Type: How is your phone connected?
Select the connection type and click Next button to continue.
Apart from the basic three types of connection, there is also File (Android phones). To find out how to connect an Android device, please continue to the How to connect Android phone section.
