SIM card

Although most of the modern mobile devices use internal memory to store contacts and messages, some data may be also stored on SIM cards. Some phones allow us to preview and edit it; however, full information can usually be accessible only through a SIM card reader.

Detailed information about the SIM card can be displayed through selecting the SIM item in the device tree. There are various SIM card data accessible in the subfolders.

  • Last dialed numbers
    • Some phones store the information about the calls on the SIM card (usually out-of-date devices). In the vast majority of cases, the information is being stored in the phone memory (the Last dialed numbers item in the device's root).
  • Fixed dialing numbers
    • Special safety list containing phone numbers set by default (usually by the network operator). To write into this list you have to enter the PIN2 code. The Activated attribute displays when the SIM card is set in the safety mode. The same editing principles apply on this list as with the regular phonebook.
