Creating the vCard backup

Directly connectible phones

1. Connect any phone to Phone Copier Express and as a destination select "Save backup file" from the dropdown menu. In the lower selection choose "vCard backup".

2. Only contacts can be copied this way, so please select contacts and then the accounts you want to copy them from. Click on "Copy now" and wait for the process to finish.
3. Once done you will be able to find a "backup.dat" file in a folder, which you have selected prior to the copying.

Nokia phones with S30+ OS

You can also create this backup.dat file on any Nokia phone with the S30+ operating system.
1. Go to your phone´s menu.
2. Open settings.
3. Open section called "Backup" in settings.
4. Select "Create backup".
5. Mark contacts in the list.
6. Done - the backup will be created and saved to an SD card in the phone

Restoring from the vCard backup

1. In Phone Copier Express select "Load vCard file" option from the dropdown menu as a source.

2. Locate the "backup.dat" file in your PC and select it to be loaded.

3. Connect any phone as a destination device and it will offer you to copy contacts. Select them and proceed with the copying.

vCard backup stored in Nokia phone with S30+ OS

1. Connect the phone to your PC in the "Mass storage" mode.
2. Locate it in the Phone Copier Express as a source - it will look like a removable disk.
3. From the lower dropdown menu select the vCard backup to copy from.

4. Connect any phone as a destination device and it will offer you to copy contacts. Select them and proceed with the copying.

Restoring vCard backup into Nokia phone with S30+ OS

1. In Phone Copier Express select "Load vCard file" option from the dropdown menu as a source.

2. Locate the "backup.dat" file in your PC and select it to be loaded.

3. Connect the phone to your PC in the "Mass storage" mode.
4. Locate it in the Phone Copier Express as a destination - it will look like a removable disk.

5. Only contacts will be offered to be copied - select them and proceed with the copying.
6. Once done, disconnect the phone from your PC.
7. Go to your phone´s menu.
8. Open settings.
9. Open section called "Backup" in settings.
10. Select "Restore backup".
11. Mark contacts in the list.
12. Done - your phone will be restarted and the restoration process will finish automatically.
