Can't connect Android phone
Allow USB debugging and installing of non-Market applications:
- Make sure you enable USB Debugging in Settings > Applications > Development

Allow installation of non-Market applications in Settings > Applications > Unknown sources

Make sure that the phone is not set in Mass Storage mode
Another problem that could be causing this is using a charging only cable. The cable you use must be a data cable allowing the transfer of information between your phone and the software.
