Working with the phonebook:

Users can access the edit dialogue by double-clicking on a contact. Alternatively, you can select a contact and click the Edit button on the Edit toolbar or in the context menu, which can be called up by right-clicking the contact. 

Any new or edited contacts will be marked by a red font color. You can use multi-level Undo function to set changes back. The changes (red-marked items) aren't final unless you make them write into the phone memory using the Write button on the main toolbar.

When you want to work with the phone content, you need to retrieve the data from the phone first. Whenever you first access the phonebook for the first time since launching MOBILedit, the program will automatically read your contacts and update them. Each following time, you have to click the Read button to retrieve the data or to cancel the changes you made in MOBILedit! environment.
