Duplicates search

If there are any duplicates present, MOBILedit! automatically detects such contacts and lets you decide whether you want to delete some of them and which ones to keep.

Contacts are regarded as duplicates in the case that one contact is a copy or a subset of another one. The most complete contact will be suggested to be kept.

The contacts with ticked checkboxes will be removed. Unchecked contacts will remain the same.

As long as there is only an intersection between two or several contacts, the contacts will be subjected to a merge instead.

Each suspected duplicate is displayed on a single screen. You can move to the next case by clicking Next. You may skip all duplicates found by clicking Skip (the number of duplicates is displayed in the lower right corner).
