If you are unable to connect your phone to MOBILedit with a cable there are other ways you can connect so you can use the software. MOBILedit is able to connect to your phone without a direct cable connection through Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. However, Bluetooth is only available on Android and older devices. In order to do that, you need to install the MOBILedit application on your phone.

 

iPhone

Our application, available on the AppStore, allows you to connect your iPhone to MOBILedit's desktop application. Besides connecting to the PC application, the mobile version offers many features:

• Through Wi-Fi, MOBILedit can access the contacts on your phone from all possible contact groups such as the Phone's memory, WhatsApp, Google Contacts, Exchange, or iCloud. In contrast, with cable connection  only the phone memory can be edited unless you have iCloud turned off. If you turn on iCloud, there is no way to access your contacts via cable connection, even iTunes can't do it. This is a huge advantage of  using our application with a Wi-Fi connection over a cable connection with an iPhone.
  
• You can backup and restore your contacts locally and copy contacts between different contact groups (for example from Google to iCloud)
• You can create a backup of your contacts to our cloud (online storage) and restore from it the contacts from it as well.
• We have developed a similar application for cloud storage for Android, Samsung Bada and Nokia Symbian which gives you the capability to migrate between phones without a need to connect them to a PC. You just upload your contacts or messages from one phone and download them on another.
• MOBILedit allows you to connect any phone to your PC and upload/download contacts or SMS messages to or from the cloud. If you get the mobile application from the store, you can easily download those contacts or messages from your old phone to your new phone and due to MOBILedit supporting thousands of phones, including very old models, it gives you incredible migration possibilities.

Android

The application for connecting Android phones is available for free on Google Play. Just search for MOBILedit on the Google Play Store and download the MOBILedit PC Suite application. Also, you can find our Phone Copier application on Google Play which provides you the capability to use our cloud storage and migrate data between different phones and platforms without a need to connect it to a PC. Our popular Contacts Optimizer app can be found on Google Play as well.
